Première of 'Lakesongs'

I am very excited by the forthcoming première of Lakesongs that will take place in Ambleside next month. The work is scored for mezzo-soprano, viola and piano and sets poems by William Wilfred Campbell, William Yeats and Edith Sitwell. It will be performed by Clare McCaldin, Yuko Inoue and Tadashi Imai and the performance will take place in the Ambleside Parish Rooms at 15.30 on Tuesday 09 August. I will give a pre-concert talk that is free to ticket holders in the same venue at 14.30.
