International Competition Success

I was thrilled to hear that my work O salutaris hostia had come second place in the ‘Musica Sacra International Composers Compeition 2012’. This competition is designed to focus on the leading young composers of sacred choral music from across the world and I am very honoured to have been chosen. The motet will be premiered at the ‘Gaude Mater’ International Festival of Sacred Music in Częstochowa in May with performances following in Vilnius and Gdansk. The premiere will be broadcast on Polish radio and a recording made. And I got a reasonable amount of money. Which is nice.
