I Stood on a Tower (2008) (pdf)

I Stood on a Tower is a simple setting of the Alfred Lord Tennyson poem for SATB unaccompanied choir. The chord of a minor ninth is the harmonic colouring that binds the work together, enhancing the melancholy of Tennyson’s poem.
